About Us

This gem of a medieval church on the banks of the River Dever has a rich heritage dating back to the 11th century.

The bell tower houses three bells which, thanks to the generosity of many people and several grant-giving bodies, were restored to full change ringing in a unique conservation and restoration project that English Heritage called "an excellent scheme". The restored bells were rededicated to God in honour of HM the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. Two of the three bells are listed: one of them dates from about 1399 and is among the oldest in Hampshire.

The church is now a chapel-of-ease to All Saints, Barton Stacey, part of the Lower Dever Benefice. Click on Picture Gallery to see photos of the church and the bells. We welcome you to our Book of Common Prayer services held twice a month (see calendar for details).
