Welcome to the St Cross Church, the place of worship for the local parish of St Faith’s and for the Master and Brothers of the Hospital of St Cross.
Our Sunday services are:
8.00am Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion,
9.30am Parish Sung Eucharist, with Sunday school activities;
5.30pm Evensong, every 2nd Sunday of the month.
Wednesdays at 11.30am Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion.
Our Vision
We strive to be GENEROUS both in upholding Christ's Sacramental ministry and Benedictine ideals of hospitality, feeding Christ’s people, and like St Faith offering ourselves in bearing witness to the name of Jesus Christ.
Being CHRIST-CENTRED we commit ourselves to encounter Christ in the Eucharist, in meaningful worship and in the Scripture. We want to deepen our learning of Faith and expand the ways we serve the wider community.
As a COMMUNITY, we endeavour to devote ourselves to the Apostles’ teaching, to prayer and the breaking of bread, and to corporate fellowship of believers in worship of God.
