Morning Prayer on weekdays is from the Church of England publication “Common Worship – Daily Prayer”. We have copies of the printed book in church, but people with smartphones generally use the Daily Prayer app which provides the prayers and readings for each day. When there’s a fifth Sunday in the month, we come together as a benefice rather than have morning services in both St Bartholomew’s and St Lawrence. On this fifth Sunday, which is Advent Sunday, it’s St Bartholomew’s turn to host the service.
