St James' is a family and inclusive church at the heart of the Pokesdown community.
We meet for worship and fellowship each Sunday at 10:00. Most Sunday morning services are Family Eucharist Services. The first Sunday of the month comprises an All Age service which involves the youth and uniformed groups and, although this service is not a Eucharist Service, there is an additional 3pm Eucharist service on those Sundays.
Our parish of Bournemouth: St James, Pokesdown is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
