About Us

A warm welcome awaits you at all our services and activities. Our modern facilities were built in 1984 to serve the people of Throop and the surrounding area.

St Paul's has an Evangelical tradition established in the late 19th Century when the original building was built near to the Central Railway Station in Bournemouth. However, in the 1980's, due to the re-shaping of the town centre, the old building was demolished, and a fairly unique situation arose when a new Parish was created and the Church moved to a new residential area on the northern edge of the town. St Paul's at Throop was created, and has continued to serve Jesus as Lord ever since.

We offer varied forms of worship to suit all tastes, and organisations are run for all ages. Everything is run by church members who long to introduce Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

We meet on Sundays at 10:00am for worship and again at 6:30pm for evening worship. Our 'all age' service is on the first Sunday of each month.

We are currently in a period of an interegnum but have a locum and three Licenced Lay Ministers looking after us. An advert for a new incumbent has been placed and we are interviewing in early January 2017.... watch this space for more information as soon as it can be announced.
