Bell-Ringing Practice

St Edward's is very proud to have a ring of eight bells hung for change-ringing. This is a unique English tradition and all are welcome to come and learn the ropes!
EXCITING NEWS: The rehanging of the bells and strengthen the frame is complete and the ringers are enjoying the superb quality of the works by Whites of Appleton. They were rededicated recently by the Acting Bishop of Southampton Geoff Annas - See Photo with Francis Mitchell in the middle and our LLM Margaret Hoadley

Friday Communion

A relaxed service of Holy Communion before our Friday Coffee Morning, is now being held in the Hall at 9.30am, before Chatters starts at 10.00am

Our Weekly Eucharist

We meet every Sunday at 10.00am for Holy Communion and afterwards in the Church Hall for a chat over coffee.

Deaf Church

Monthly. Every Fourth Sunday at for 1 hour

We have a monthly deaf church service, and welcome people from across the area to this service, followed by lunch in the Church Hall. The service is in BSL, but it is also spoken, and we welcome everyone to this service.

LADIES LUNCH

Every First Tuesday at for 2 hours

Ladies lunch is on the first Tuesday of each month from midday to 2.00 pm. We meet for coffee and a chat first then a two course freshly cooked meal and a talk or discussion afterwards - always very enjoyable. All ladies welcome to come along whether they attend church or not - its for all!

Men's Breakfast

Monthly. Every Third Saturday at for 1 hour

St Edward's Men's Breakfast Group meets on the Third Saturday of each Month, from 9.00am to 10.00am. We meet over a full English breakfast and have a discussion and talk on a different theme each month. All welcome.
