Church of England Diocese of Winchester Christ Church, Emery Down

Christ Church

You are welcome to join us however you wish to do so.  Our church provides a small, intimate space and we welcome worshippers and visitors alike.  Be with our friendly congregation to worship with us on Sundays, come to pray or just visit during the week.

With the New Forest as its backdrop this delightful country church was consecrated in 1864.  The church serves the villages and hamlets of Bank, Emery Down and Gritnam.  It is an ideal setting for every life event (seating 100) and is set up to live stream.

The parish of Emery Down and Bank: Christ Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Benefice Safeguarding Officer, BSO.  The Diocese of Winchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our BSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
