A monthly Evensong service during the summer months

St John the Baptist

We are delighted to welcome you to the Parish of Hythe.

We would love to welcome you to our services at St John's Church. Most Sundays we have three morning services.

At 9:30am we have Bubble Church which is a 30-minute service designed especially for young families.

At 10:15am we have a short Morning Worship Service with modern worship songs and a thought for the day.

At 11:15am we have our more traditional Holy Communion Service.

We also have Evensong at St John's at 5:30pm on the second Sunday of the month (during British Summer Time only).

If you would like the details of how to join us in person or on Zoom, please email [email protected]

Safeguarding

The Parish of Hythe is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Winchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
