You are welcome to come to Wellow Vicarage and spend some time with others in reflection and prayer. You don’t have to attend St Margaret’s church to come along.

We begin with a hot drink and a toasted crumpet before hearing and discussing a portion of The Creed (the ‘We Believe’ prayer said in church on Sunday), which helps us think about the God to whom we pray.

We then pray for about 30mins, on different topics. Feel free to bring any of your own prayer requests. There may be words, silence, music and crafting / art during prayer is welcome.

St Margaret's, Wellow

St Margaret's Church is ancient - 1215.  It is the burial place of Florence Nightingale to whom there is a memorial in the churchyard.  Many visitors with a connection to nursing come during the week to lay flowers and pay their respects, or sit on a bench to contemplate her legacy.  Please sign the visitor's book in the church when you visit!

Everyone is welcome at St Margaret's inclusive and friendly services.  We enjoy a traditional style of worship with our small choir leading us in hymns.  There is usually a warm drink and hospitality in The Church Rooms (by the car park) after a service, please come and get to know one another better.

We look forward to meeting you!
