As the Church of England Parish Church in Shirley we seek to reach out with God's love to those around us. We welcome visitors to our services which are held at St James' by the Park on St James Road.
We have 2 services; a traditional reflective service at 9am and an informal service at 10.30am each Sunday.
We have a large number of children and young people involved in the life of the church with activities for all ages on Sundays. There is a créche for 0-3 year olds and children's groups for 3 year olds to school year 8 at the 10.30 service. We have a youth evening service for school year 9 to age 20 on the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month.
We have a long history of practical involvement in our local community and we are committed to working through small groups which meet mid-week and offer a place of community, worship, outreach and discipleship for our members.
