May The Queen, who lived her life with faith in God at its very core, rest in God’s eternal peace.St Nicholas' is open if you wish to come in and reflect quietly on the sad death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We have a Book of Condolence and you are most welcome to sit in quiet reflection, pray or light a candle. Church bells will be tolled across England on Friday 9 September following the announcement of the death of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The bells of Pershore Abbey will join with those from across the Nation, tolling 96 times and then ringing muffled. The Union flag is flying at half mast until tomorrow 1100, when the new King is proclaimed. It will then return to half mast as we continue our period of mourning.Image: Courtesy of Press Association
