About Us

Saint George’s Parish Church is an Anglican church serving the Arboretum and Barbourne areas of Worcester City. We are a friendly, worshipping community with a warm welcome for everyone, aiming to be a holy place for the whole community.

Many people coming into our church for the first time, find the space breathtaking. It is both prayerful and awesome, a space which speaks of God’s love and compassion. We worship ‘in the round’, as one family, placing the altar at the heart of the people. We take pride in blending the old with the new, so our worship is a mix of traditional and contemporary, reflecting our diverse congregation.

Children and their parents are made to feel especially welcome. As the Parish church we are also here for baptisms, weddings and funerals. We hope you will come and visit us soon.  Families of all ages are welcome at the 10.30 am Parish Eucharist, as are people on their own. Children's worship takes place alongside adults most Sundays in school term time. With an All-Age service monthly.  Every second Sunday we have Cafe-style worship at 10.30 and a Celtic Communion service evening service at 5.30 pm, ideal for those who want a time of peace to refresh their souls.
