St Leonard's, Beoley, Redditch
We are a lively and active Christian community based near the village of Beoley, to the north-east of Redditch. Our Sunday services offer a wide variety of worship styles and we also have a number of weekly activities, as well as our annual events such as the Summer Fete, Snowdrop Weekend and Christmas Fayre, which are very much part of the local community calendar. Our beautiful and historic church building is popular for weddings and Christenings, as well as a fitting location for funerals. The best way to find out more about us is to come and see us and get involved! Please message us if you would like to find out more.
During the Covid-19 pandemic St Leonard's has changed, but not stopped. Our services continue both online and in our building - see the relevant pages for more information. We continue to serve our community in different ways and pray for the world. We are available for weddings, Christenings and funerals, subject to national restrictions (Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidance for churches | The Church of England). As at 10 January 2021 all Sunday services and baptisms (Christenings) are suspended and we hope to resume in due course. Funerals can still take place (limited to thirty people); weddings are limited to six people and only permitted in exceptional circumstances.
St Leonard's Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
