Children are welcome at S. Margaret's at all our events and worship. We have a children's play area for small children at all times with books and toys. Children are welcome to wander around, and to make themselves at home, but must be supervised by an adult at all times. There is plenty of space to store buggies and prams. 

Our toilet is equipped with baby-change and toilet step. 

We have the following worship and activities specifically for children, families and young people, more information about them can be found on our 'worship and events' page on this website, including times, dates and more details. There may also be one-off events on our worship and events page that isn't listed below. 

StoryTime - this is for pre-school children and their carers/parents. Children's stories are read, songs, and prayers and a simple activity shared, to start to explore the name of Jesus, and the love of God. 

Messy Church - this is also for pre-school children, and also suitable for all primary school age children - craft, play, song, story and refreshments to explore the faith and get to know God, and make new friends together

Coffee Stop - this is a monthly school pick-up time, for children and their parents/carers. There is a children's play area, with toys for small children, and a homework area for older children (we have wifi, but bring your own devices!), tea and coffee and chance to chat before and after pick up.

Board Game time! Saturday afternoons once a month for young people in Year Six or older. 

Pizza and Prayer! Gathering for young people at High School - chat about the faith, bring your big questions, make friends, chill out, and eat pizza....
