40 years ago, Andrea trained as a nurse at the Corbett Hospital. When she retired from nursing, she started researching John Corbett and the history of the hospital. She shares her findings in this fascinating talk about such an important part of our local community.

Traditionally, the church celebrates the birthday of the Virgin Mary on September 8th, which gives us a wonderful reason to celebrate and reflect on her role as Jesus' mother, and mother to us all. Mary was a ground breaker, a person who opens the way before us in understanding the radical news of Jesus' love. She reminds us of the reality of his incarnation, and continues to be our mother in prayer and love.

We celebrate with a party mass, followed by birthday cake and tea and coffee, prosecco and time for chat and friendship. All are welcome. There is also the option for a chinese takeaway - please sign up at the back of church. The cost for this will be about £10 per head

For families, carers and pre-school children. Come along and gather informally for a children's story, a little activity, a song and a prayer. All followed by refreshments. Donations welcome, but no charge. All are welcome.

Come to celebrate our recent Gold Eco Award, and to reflect together on the wonders of creation, and our call to steward it. A half hour service of songs of Praise, followed by scones and tea and coffee for all. Everyone is welcome.

Opening the Bible together, beginning with the Gospel of Mark. A simple time of asking questions, sharing insight, and learning together. Bring your own bible, or we can give you one for free. To celebrate Fairtrade week, S. Margaret's are having a Fairtrade themed coffee morning. All the refreshments will be Fairtrade and there will be information to look at about Fairtrade. All alongside our usual warm and friendly atmosphere and welcome. Why not come along and make some new friends / catch up with old ones!

Retired librarian and records manager, Nigel, serves us an irresistible talk showcasing the history of the biscuit from Roman times to today, the history of major biscuit producers as well as of individual biscuits. He also considers when a biscuit is not a biscuit and which biscuits are the most dunkable. Refreshments will of course include... biscuits...

Festal Mass with hymns to celebrate S. Luke, apostle, evangelist and patron saint of healing. This will include the opportunity to light candles to pray for healing - for yourself, or for those on your heart, and the optional opportunity to be anointed for healing.
All followed by a festal fish and chip supper £10 per adult, £7 per child to include free tea, coffee and squash, or bring your own drinks.

Drop in to church as you pass on your Halloween festivities, for free hot chocolate, children's activities, opportunity to light a candle against the dark and a free gift... may the blessing of light be with you on this night of ghosties and ghouls...

Holy Communion with hymns, readings and the reading of the names of those who have died. We pray together for all who have died, commending them into God's love and mercy, fulfilling the duty and joy of the Christian Calling to give love and dignity to all who have died, praying for those we love, for those who have no one to pray for them, for the dead through the ages, and for those who we find it hard to love. Praying also for God's tender love for all who mourn. There will be an opportunity to light candles, and a refreshments and time to talk together following the worship.

Chris is the co-founder of Team4Nature and volunteer Conservation Manager at Bibbey’s Wild Farms. He is a passionate conservationist who works with farmers to help nature recover. His talk not only details the amazing results achieved in the local area but also gives examples of how everyone can contribute by making small changes in their garden.

Holy Communion on Remembrance Day, beginning with an Act of Remembrance, including the two minutes silence at 11am. We honour those who have died for peace and given their lives in service, and we pray for all who serve today. As bread is broken and shared in Communion, so we pray for all that is broken in our world today by violence and injustice, and we pray for peace. The worship will be followed by refreshments. All are welcome

Come and hear the Christmas Story told in the local dialect in an animated version by our Linda and Susan. An absolutely bostin' family afternoon out with a lorra laughs, and yet a great way to engage with the real meaning of Christmas

Our usual coffee morning takes on a festive feel with coffee, refreshments and chat from 10.30 - 11.15am, and lots of sing-a-long carols and some Christmas bible readings from 11.15 - come along for a little christmassy fun, and a little time out with the real meaning of Christmas. All are welcome.

A selection of beautiful Christmas Music sung by Halesowen Choral Society creating a special and atmospheric evening, lit by candles in this beautiful building. Refreshments in the interval. Always a popular event, come early to get a good seat! Tickets £10 available on the door. Ticket sales go to the choral society.

Our friends the West Midlands Concert Band are back with music for Christmas. Brass band music always evokes the spirit of Christmas and especially in a beautiful and atmospheric building. Lots of wonderful music to enjoy including some sing-along carols. Mince pies and hot drinks in the interval. A wonderful night out for all the family. Come early to avoid disappointment.
