S. Margaret's church receives no funding from Government or central church. We rely entirely on donations from our church family and local community to maintain the building and to support our work and presence in Hasbury and beyond.

It costs £1451 per week to run the Church, including keeping the building standing and in good repair, and offering our work of worship, and work in the community. Work in the community includes school work (in school and in church) - educating the children about loving themselves and others, and introducing them to the moral and spiritual framework of Chrisitianity, supporting local community charities, supporting the bereaved and despairing, visiting the sick in hospital, offering funerals, weddings, and baptisms, and space for traditional spiritual and family Christmas, allowing use of our building for community gatherings and meetings and for local charities, maintaining the green space that is our grounds for local wildlife, and for the blessing of the community, amongst much much more.

we are so very grateful for anything you can give.
