We gather to celebrate all we are as a Family of Five Churches in God's Grace at our sister church - S. John's Halesowen. A time of celebration and thanksgiving, a full festal mass with hymns and singing, (led by The Right Reverend Martin Gorrick, Bishop of Dudley) followed by outdoor procession and blessing of the community. Talk Series - Keith Hunter, A window onto Glory

Keith is a talented amateur photographer, and a member of Dudley Camera Club. This is a talk to lift heart and spirit as Keith shares some of his years of experience, and a selection of his beautiful photographs. Keith will take us with him on his journey over his past decade as a keen amateur photographer and camera club member firstly looking briefly at how photography is ever changing particularly now with the advent of AI and what this could mean for the future. But for most of his presentation he will treat us to a viewing of his work across a number of genre's including landscapes, portraits, still life, wildlife and others. We are sure there will be something for everyone to enjoy and take inspiration from. He will comment on many of the photographs presented, who knows his tips and ideas may even spur you into picking up your camera or mobile phone and giving it a go." Do come along and enjoy an afternoon of superb imagery followed by tea and biscuits and a change to engage with Keith to ask questions or look at some of the photography materials he will be bringing along."

Talk Series - Keith Edwards - Filming Underground!

Keith is an experienced and engaging speaker, and has been a caver for over thirty-five years and has explored most of the major caving systems in this country. As well as being a member of Dudley Caving Club, he is also a member of the Midlands Cave Rescue Organisation and has been a volunteer in a number of cave rescue incidents for which he has received the Queen’s Golden, Diamond and Platinum Jubilee Medals.

He is also an award-winning cave videographer. His videos can be viewed on my YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/@caverkeith. They have received critical acclaim from the caving community and the channel is one of the most popular caving channels on YouTube.

This is a fascinating, enthralling talk about Keith's knowledge and experience - a view onto a world many of us will never experience. All followed by refreshments and a chance to ask questions and share together.

The Revd Hugh Houghton is an acclaimed and respected speaker, and Professor of New Testament Textual Scholarship at the University of Birmingham in addition to being one of the editors of the Greek New Testament for the United Bible Societies. In this richly illustrated and engaging talk, he explains the story of our scriptures - how the text of the New Testament has been transmitted to the present day and how modern scholars are creating and using digital tools to understand the evidence and make it more widely available.
