We gather to celebrate all we are as a Family of Five Churches in God's Grace at our sister church - S. John's Halesowen. A time of celebration and thanksgiving, a full festal mass with hymns and singing, (led by The Right Reverend Martin Gorrick, Bishop of Dudley) followed by outdoor procession and blessing of the community. All rounded off by party refreshments! All are welcome.

To celebrate Fairtrade week, S. Margaret's are having a Fairtrade themed coffee morning. All the refreshments will be Fairtrade and there will be information to look at about Fairtrade. All alongside our usual warm and friendly atmosphere and welcome. Why not come along and make some new friends / catch up with old ones!

Keith is a talented amateur photographer, and a member of Dudley Camera Club. This is a talk to lift heart and spirit as Keith shares some of his years of experience, and a selection of his beautiful photographs. Keith will take us with him on his journey over his past decade as a keen amateur photographer and camera club member firstly looking briefly at how photography is ever changing particularly now with the advent of AI and what this could mean for the future. But for most of his presentation he will treat us to a viewing of his work across a number of genre's including landscapes, portraits, still life, wildlife and others. We are sure there will be something for everyone to enjoy and take inspiration from. He will comment on many of the photographs presented, who knows his tips and ideas may even spur you into picking up your camera or mobile phone and giving it a go." Do come along and enjoy an afternoon of superb imagery followed by tea and biscuits and a change to engage with Keith to ask questions or look at some of the photography materials he will be bringing along."

South Staffs Water are at our coffee morning again to answer questions about bills, meters, sustainability or anything else that comes to mind. Their helpful and friendly staff are longing to meet anyone from the community. Festal Mass with hymns to celebrate S. Luke, apostle, evangelist and patron saint of healing. This will include the opportunity to light candles to pray for healing - for yourself, or for those on your heart, and the optional opportunity to be anointed for healing.
All followed by a festal fish and chip supper £9 per adult, £7 per child to include free tea, coffee and squash, or bring your own drinks.

Drop in to church as you pass on your Halloween festivities, for free hot chocolate, children's activities, opportunity to light a candle against the dark and a free gift... may the blessing of light be with you on this night of ghosties and ghouls...

Keith is an experienced and engaging speaker, and has been a caver for over thirty-five years and has explored most of the major caving systems in this country. As well as being a member of Dudley Caving Club, he is also a member of the Midlands Cave Rescue Organisation and has been a volunteer in a number of cave rescue incidents for which he has received the Queen’s Golden, Diamond and Platinum Jubilee Medals.

He is also an award-winning cave videographer. His videos can be viewed on my YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/@caverkeith. They have received critical acclaim from the caving community and the channel is one of the most popular caving channels on YouTube.

This is a fascinating, enthralling talk about Keith's knowledge and experience - a view onto a world many of us will never experience. All followed by refreshments and a chance to ask questions and share together.

A Festival Mass for All Saints' as we celebrate the communion of faith, and all those on whose shoulders we stand and in whose prayers we journey. We celebrate too the victory of light over darkness - the endurance of love that outlasts all the dark and ugly warping of humanity and the shadows of evil. When the saints walk at midnight Halloween ends and all that is darkness is overcome in the light of those who follow and share the Light Of Christ.

Why not come together for this festival mass and celebrate. Followed by cake and fizz for a proper party

Holy Communion with hymns, readings and the reading of the names of those who have died. We pray together for all who have died, commending them into God's love and mercy, fulfilling the duty and joy of the Christian Calling to give love and dignity to all who have died, praying for those we love, for those who have no one to pray for them, for the dead through the ages, and for those who we find it hard to love. Praying also for God's tender love for all who mourn. There will be an opportunity to light candles, and a refreshments and time to talk together following the worship.

A return of the ever-popular Halesowen Choral Society with a baroque concert, including Bach's Lutheran Mass in G minor, and Zadok the Priest and the Dettingen Te Deum by Handel

Holy Communion on Remembrance Day, beginning with an Act of Remembrance, including the two minutes silence at 11am. We honour those who have died for peace and given their lives in service, and we pray for all who serve today. As bread is broken and shared in Communion, so we pray for all that is broken in our world today by violence and injustice, and we pray for peace. The worship will be followed by refreshments. All are welcome

In our Parish there are five church buildings, all part of one family. This Sunday there is no worship at S. Margaret's as we worship together at our sister Church, S. Peter, Lapal... for a wonderful warm time of worship with Holy Communion and hymns. All are welcome as we celebrate together :-) All followed by refreshments and chance to chat

Our friends the West Midlands Concert Band are back with music for Christmas. Brass band music always evokes the spirit of Christmas and especially in a beautiful and atmospheric building. Lots of wonderful music to enjoy including some sing-along carols. Mince pies and hot drinks in the interval. A wonderful night out for all the family. Come early to avoid disappointment.

Our usual coffee morning takes on a festive feel with coffee, refreshments and chat from 10.30 - 11am, and lots of sing-a-long carols and some Christmas bible readings from 11.45 - come along for a little christmassy fun, and a little time out with the real meaning of Christmas. All are welcome.

A simple Holy Communion as part of our continuing worship for Christmas - Christmas is too good to be over in one day! Sing another carol, share together in warmth and loving community, and take a bit of time out of the bustle and noise of Christmas in this holy space

The Revd Hugh Houghton is an acclaimed and respected speaker, and Professor of New Testament Textual Scholarship at the University of Birmingham in addition to being one of the editors of the Greek New Testament for the United Bible Societies. In this richly illustrated and engaging talk, he explains the story of our scriptures - how the text of the New Testament has been transmitted to the present day and how modern scholars are creating and using digital tools to understand the evidence and make it more widely available.
