About Us

St. Leonard's is an impressive Parish Church with a long history of being a place of prayer and worship. Its traditional English Parish Church appearance and the countryside that surrounds it make it a popular place for weddings as well as walkers and people who tend graves in the churchyard.

St. Leonard's is a popular halt for walkers on the Worcestershire Way which passes the church and runs up through the churchyard. The church is usually open in daylight hours for prayer, peace and quiet.

However, St. Leonard's is more than just a beautiful and distinguished building. It is also the home of a community of Christians, who gather to worship using mainly traditional liturgy and hymns.

Services normally take place every Sunday at 11.15 a.m. except for the first Sunday of each month when we join with the other 3 churches in the Benefice for Holy Communion at 10.30 am. The location rotates round the churches - for details see our the section below on Services.
