Despite the threat of incoming rain a team of volunteers from St. Leonard's and St. Anne's gathered on the morning of 31st August in St Leonard's churchyard. They were joined by members of the team from 'Caring for God's Acre' in Shropshire to carry out scything of the long grass areas of the churchyard. The grass was then raked up and removed. This is all part of the parish policy to increase the biodiversity of this ancient and beautiful graveyard
