St Peter, Cookley

St Peter's Cookley is truly a village church. Built in 1849 it is a place where people from the village can meet, take time to reflect and pray in the peace of the church and to celebrate life events. All are welcome to our services and we are keen to get to know you and for you to share in our hospitality.  We have opportunities for worship, prayer and learning about the Good News of Jesus Christ as well as our work in the community with projects such as 'Chill and Chat', an opportunity to come together as a community in Cookley.

Our Team Ministry

Safeguarding

Our parish of Kidderminster Ismere is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).

The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Ian Strongman, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Team.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children's or adult's social care services.
