We invite you to our weekly Eucharist - the service of Holy Communion in which we receive the consecrated Bread and Wine. We come together to be with Jesus Christ. We gather as a Christian community to pray, to listen, to sing, to worship and to receive the Sacrament. We have people here who are regular worshippers, and very often visitors either from the town or coming from a distance. And there is a chance to chat and to meet new people over refreshments after the service.

Children are welcome. And if you need it Communion can be available with Gluten-free and alcohol-free elements - please speak to the stewards when you arrive. If you are not sure about receiving Communion, you are still welcome.

Coming together in this way helps us deepen our Christian understanding and equips us to live out our faith day by day.

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 11 a.m. for 4 hours from May 1st, right through to the end of September.

We have our beautiful church building open to visitors on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11 am and 3 pm.
Come and spend time here yourself - enjoy the stillness, think deep thoughts, offer a prayer, explore the history.
Stewards are on hand to welcome you, guide leaflets are available pointing out key features.

On Saturday 19th September St Mary's will be open to all who want to explore this iconic church, inspect the historic tombs, enjoy the vivid stained glass windows and soak up the atmosphere of centuries of prayer. The church will be open from 10 am to 2.30 pm. And visitors will be able to climb up the spiral staircase to see the bells - and a video link will be in place at ground level for those who are not quite so energetic.
All are welcome - come and bring a friend!

We have a fine team of Change Ringers at St Mary's, and are proud of our peal of twelve bells. We will be featuring the bell ringing team at our service on Sunday 20th September at 11 am. Members of the team will read from the Bible and offer prayer, and say a bit about their bell ringing. Two special "bell" hymns will be used, and handbells will be in action.

All are welcome to share in this service - a chance also to meet members of the team.
There will be refreshments after the service.
This service will not be a Eucharist.
