St Peter, Upper Arley

St Peter’s, Upper Arley; part of the church dates to the 1100s, with a Victorian extended chancel, vestry and porch. A new kitchen and toilet extension were added in 2005/6. The building is grade 2 listed and seats around 180 -200 people. It is built of local stone and has many attractive features; the church is open every day.

There is a bell tower with six bells which are rung at weddings with the help of ringers from Alveley and once a month before morning service by ringers from other churches in the Team and the surrounding area. Bell ringing practice night - Tuesday evenings at 19:30

Regular Sunday worship is currently suspended.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Kidderminster Ismere is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).

The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Ian Strongman, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Team.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children's or adult's social care services.
