About Us

St Mark’s Church, Pensnett is affectionately known locally as the ‘Cathedral of the Black Country’, thanks to its impressive, spacious interior and beautiful stained-glass windows.

Completed in 1849, St Mark’s has been carefully updated for modern use while retaining the character, beauty and atmosphere of its Victorian heritage.

Our main Sunday service is at 10am every week, followed by refreshments and a chance to meet Chris and members of our friendly church family.
