On 3rd November the weather was beautiful - blue sky and gorgeous autumn colours. A small group of us with 2 dogs walked in the woods at Appleton and we spotted 2 young deer. A real treat to see nature in its habitat and feel a part of it. All welcome to join our Parish walks. We normally alternate between Appleton Roebuck and Acaster Malbis, although soon we hope to do a 7 mile walk that links all our Benefice AAA villages (Acaster Malbis, Appleton Roebuck and Acaster Selby).
