Dear Friends,

What delightful weather we are having! Together with every other gardener, I’ve been nurturing seedlings hoping that they will bear fruit in their season.

Gardening is a great illustration of faith, on so many levels. We need to weed our faith, fertilise it, prune it and water it. We can do that by following the six Rhythms of Life – praying and reading the Bible, worshipping with other believers, loving one another, being generous, sharing the Good News and adopting patterns of rest. In this weather you only need to neglect your garden a little while and tender new shoots will wither while robust and opportunistic weeds grow up! It’s the same with faith. Hebrews 10:25 reminds us not to neglect meeting together, so that we can encourage one another and grow as Christians.

Michael gives us an apt faith-building tip in his Thought (attached) – why not read (or re-read) Who Moved the Stone by Frank Morrison? Read on to find out more!

COFFEE MORNING REMINDER: Please bring donations for Raffle and Tombola prizes to Holy Trinity THIS SUNDAY!
