Dear Friends,

An eventful week so far. His Holiness Pope Francis died, and Catholics and other Christians the world over mourn his passing. Peace in Ukraine seems further away than ever as the USA threatens to wash its hands of the whole thing (again). Earthquakes shake Istanbul and the High Court agrees the definition of a woman. Prince Louis turns seven and the Birmingham bin strike rumbles on. Who knows what else will have happened by the time you read this?

However, I can promise that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night shall not cease (Genesis 8:22). And natural disasters aside, the following services and events will take place in Acaster Malbis, Appleton Roebuck and Acaster Selby!
