A wide variety of pets accompanied by their well behaved owners attended the Annual Animal Service at St Andrew’s, Aldringham on Sunday 13th August.

11 Dogs, 3 cats, 2 sheep, 2 donkeys, 2 Guinea pigs, 2 African land snails and not forgetting 3 teddy bears, were joined by a congregation of 40 owners and friends at the outdoor service conducted by Reverend Sarah in the churchyard on a warm afternoon.

The service included the New Zealand version of the Lord’s Prayer with Māori influences referencing Mother Nature who responded during the service with an overhead fly past of dragonflies, swallows and high flying swifts.
