St Everilda's

A very warm welcome to St. Everilda's church, Nether Poppleton!

Our vision is to be a loving church family, growing as disciples of Jesus, and helping others to meet him.

We meet each Sunday at 8.30am and each Wednesday at 10.30am for Holy Communion and would love to meet you - see our About Us page for a flavour of who we are and what to expect.

If 8.30am is too early for you on a Sunday, you could try our sister church, All Saints', in Upper Poppleton at their 10.30am service.

Please see our Services and Events page for our regular services and events. We also have seasonal services and events. For information about these, please contact us.

We are popular for weddings due to our beautiful church and location. We help and support couples along every step of the way in preparation for their service. Do come and visit us at Everilda's or get in touch

Thank you to Emma at www.happyotterphotography.com for use of the wedding photo you see above

We also welcome enquiries regarding baptisms, funerals and burials and warmly encourage you to contact us with any enquiry you might have by email: [email protected], or use our contact form

Giving

We would be very grateful for any amount you are able to give to enable our worship, mission and ministry. Our churches are used not just for worship but by our wider community for life events such as weddings, baptisms and funerals.

We lovingly maintain our two beautiful church buildings and church yards, providing peace, sanctuary and spiritual nourishment to anyone who visits.

In addition to what we offer in our church buildings, All Saints' Hall provides an affordable community space for groups, events and activities.

Please use this link to give electronically. Thank you.
