St Wilfrid's Brayton

St Wilfrid’s is the ancient parish church located in Brayton that continues to serve and minister to the whole community of the modern parish. We offer a range of styles of worship, from more traditional/formal to contemporary.

Sunday Services include a revolving programme of Lay led Morning Prayer, Celtic Communion and Holy Communion with Prayer and Anointing for Healing at 10:30am. On the first Sunday of every month we have Rise & Shine at 9 at St Francis Church, Thorpe Willoughby, an informal service for the whole family beginning with breakfast at 8.45am.

We also celebrate Holy Communion on Wednesdays at 9:30am.

We hold several community events in the Parish Hall offering fellowship and company over a simple meal or refreshments. All are welcome to our Community Lunch on the 1st Wednesday 12 noon to 1.30 pm, Craft Group Coffee Morning on the second Saturday of the month 10 am to 11.30 pm, and Coffeemates,10 am to 12 noon on the 4th Wednesday of the month.

We are an inclusive church, forging community and proclaiming God’s love. We welcome everyone as fellow travellers in life wherever you may be on your spiritual journey.
