Drax Church

Sunday 2nd April is the anniversary of a sad day in the history of our parish. It was when the RAF Bomber crashed at Newland on it's return from Germany, and hoping to land in Snaith. The community will gather to remember them

Working with Overcliffe Media the local historians amongst the Drax Friends group have produced this video to show visitors Drax church and the surrounding area.

For the Jubilee the friends of Drax church got going with their sewing machines to produce an amazing display of red, white and blue.

Church Fete raises money for Linbee Dog homes and ongoing restoration work.
