We enjoy supper each Wednesday before conversing in an aspect of Church history, doctrine or Biblical scripture. Perfect for anyone new to the faith or interested in learning more about liturgy or the church. This will often be followed by a service of Evensong, Compline, or Benediction.

Matins and Litany is said in the Quire according to the Book of Common Prayer.

Our principal Sunday morning Sung Mass, with the parish choir, has a traditional aesthetic and uses traditional language and an Anglo-Catholic order. Followed by tea, coffee, and fellowship.

Choral Evensong sung by a student-led choir in term time with a said service out of term time. This is a popular evening service particularly suitable to newcomers to church.

Short Eucharist is celebrated in the Church at 12pm followed by refreshments from 12:30 until 14:30. A lovely group of elderly and young, and occasionally attended by local councillors. Everyone welcome at the service and/or the lunch!

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week and commemorates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem.

The name ‘Tenebrae’ is the Latin word for darkness or shadows and has for centuries been used at the night office during Holy Week.

This service is marked by a reading from the Book of Lamentations and the gradual extinguishing of candles until a single candle, considered a symbol of the Lord, remains.

Said Tenebrae - Tuesday 31st March 8pm
Said Tenebrae - Wednesday 1st April 8pm

The Solemnity of Maundy Thursday will be marked with a High Mass at 7:30pm. Following mass, there will be a procession with the blessed sacrament to the Altar of Repose where exposition will take place until Midnight.

On Good Friday the full Eucharist is not celebrated; the Gifts are already "presanctified" from Maundy Thursday.
During the mass, the cross will be venerated and the choir will sing the Passion narrative.

Stations of the Cross - 12pm
Mass of the Pre-Sanctified - 2pm

The first Mass of Easter will be kept at 8pm. The choir will accompany the service as the church celebrates the Resurrection of our Lord.

Every Sunday. A short but grand and reflective said service. Traditional (1662) language and order of service.
