St Helen is the parish church in the united benefice of St Helen with St Martin. This medieval church in York's city centre is usually open every day whether you want to look around, spend some quiet time in prayer or meditation, or attend a service. It is situated in a prime position at the bottom of Stonegate in St Helen's Square, opposite the Mansion House and Bettys.
Every Saturday at noon there is a Eucharist with hymns and music.
Every Wednesday at 4.30pm there is a quiet reflective service comprising music & prayers. It lasts about 30 minutes.
There are additional services from time to time on feast days and special occasions. We also run a summer season of concerts at lunchtimes and afternoons. Do look at our Calendar and our Facebook page to see details. Our new website is at www.sthelenwithstmartinyork.org.uk
