On the weekend of Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of October we will be celebrating St. Luke’s Tide and, as St. Luke is the patron saint of art and artists, we will be holding an arts festival as part of our 125th Anniversary Celebrations.
The arts festival will be held in both the church and the hall and will run from 10am to 4pm on the Saturday, entry is free and refreshments will be available. Displays will be left up for viewing on the Sunday afternoon. The theme of the arts festival will be ‘Caring for each other, caring for creation’.
As well as displays of arts and crafts there will also be displays of children’s work, and a range of workshops so you can have a go at some practical arts and crafts.
