We had a continual flow of items for valuation, the queue started forming at 9.30am for the 10am start. A lot of visitors stayed for the whole morning, many interested in what people were bringing in for valuation. Everybody moved on to the refreshments after they had received their valuation. Everybody said they enjoyed the day and it was good fun, quite different from the usual activities.At the end of the event the church made a net profit of £585. A very successful result.
Thank you to all the performers, it was a lovely afternoon which we hope to repeat in the future.We raised a fantastic total of £410.
Thank you to everyone for their efforts on Sunday 20th March, from setting up the church to loaning us the beautiful wedding dresses that were on display including the photo albums and wedding accessories. The wonderful array of cakes for refreshments, serving and clearing up at the end.It was lovely to see so many visitors to the church from the village and further afield.
