St John the Baptist Stamford Bridge is part of the Stamford Bridge Group of Parishes in the Diocese of York.  We are a Fairtrade church in the heart of our community and aim to be a congregation where everyone can find a warm welcome.  The other churches in the group are All Saints Catton, and St Peter and St Paul's Scrayingham. A lovely service for all the family, come along and make a Christingle! A Christingle is an orange with a candle, red ribbon and decorated with sweets. Each item has a special meaning to help us think about the Christian story and the Christ child bringing light and hope for everyone.

We hope to make the bells of St John's church ring again! We need to repair the bell fixings and the bellcote, to ensure they remain safe, and as part of the project, we can make the bells ring again.
