Pray!

LOCAL:  It's good to pray for our community, but sometimes it's difficult to know where to begin.  You can download our prayer diary below to help you to pray daily for our villages, street by street over the course of a month.

DIOCESE: If you would like to pray for other churches in York Diocese, there is a monthly prayer diary which takes you on a prayer journey through the Diocese over the course of a year.  Click on the link: Diocesan Prayer Diary

NATIONAL: Over the past two years, we've joined in with the 'Thy Kingdom Come' initiative, between Ascension and Pentecost - this year from 10th-20th May.  This is a now a global and completely ecumenical movement which was spearheaded 2 years ago by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, and which we have joined with since it began.  There are some fabulous resources that we will be using during the 10 days between Ascension and Pentecost. To get a taster of some of these, take a look at the Thy Kingdom Come website Your can also ‘Pledge2Pray'.     Do  look out for some booklets which will be available in church shortly, along with some prayer stations which will be set up in the church.
