St Mary, West Lutton

At the heart of this village, the original Saxon chapel was replaced by this Victorian Church full of the Arts and Crafts work from the 1870s and some wonderful banners in praise of God from our current congregation!

We have a communion service every month, on the fourth Sunday, sharing with the other churches in our benefice: St Mary's, Wharram-le-Street; St Andrew's, Kirby Grindalythe; St Peter's, Helperthorpe & St Andrew's, Weaverthorpe where all are welcome.

Our music is of a more modern tradition usually with a worship band

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Luttons Ambo, East & West: St Mary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
Our Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor on 01904 699524 or [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
