The first charity fun quiz of the year will take place at the Trout Inn, Wansford, on Tuesday May 5 and will be in aid of the village's St Mary's Church. It has been organised by Soshana McKnight Hill who has stepped into the shoes of Tink Rush, who stood down in 2025, and whose final quiz was also in aid of Wansford Church. Start time is 6.30pm; tickets at £5 per person - including food - are available from the Trout or will be for sale on the door on a first-come, first-served basis. As ever, Trout landlords Paul and Ian will be providing the food.
