St. Nicholas's Church has a loyal Christian congregation who worship God in a central Anglican way. We are part of a Benefice that has a regular home prayer group and a Pilgrims Group who meet for Bible study, prayer and other activities aimed at building our spiritual lives.
The Church building is of historic interest, parts of the building go back one thousand years. The Church was extensively re-furbished by Sir Tatton Sykes at the turn of the 19th century by Hodgson Fowler architects and is on the Sykes Trail of Churches. The Church is open daily from March to December at about 10.00 to 16.00 and welcomes visitors.
