Christmas Party
We are looking forward to our Christmas party on Tuesday, 16th December, at our usual time of 10.30 - 12.00. We then break up for Christmas, so this is our last meeting of the year.
Please bring a festive packed lunch for your child. We will provide some treats for the adults.
There will be a visit from Father Christmas, with gifts for the children. You will be able to take a picture of Father Christmas with your child, but please don't put photos on social media.

Carols Round the Crib Christmas Eve, 3.OOpm
You are welcome to come to this event at St Barnabas; it is suitable for all the family and particularly ideal for primary-aged children. Children can come dressed as their favourite Biblical Christmas character or animal as we tell the story of Christmas and sing carols together.

St Barnabas Swanland

Welcome to St. Barnabas - a Church in the village of Swanland, a few miles west of Hull in East Yorkshire, where everyone is welcome. 

Our 10.00 am Sunday services are friendly and relaxed. As part of the local community in Swanland, we love to share happy events such as weddings and christenings, and we are here to help during some of life's difficult times.   Or perhaps you need some quiet space or someone to talk to or to pray with.   If so, please contact us, or turn up, I am usually in the church building on Sunday at 10.00 am and from Monday to Thursday from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Our church building is usually open as a quiet space for private prayer every day from 10am to 4pm.   We are happy to pray with you, and you can write a prayer and leave it on our prayer-tree, and we will pray these in our Sunday services.

Our church is made up of ordinary people.   We're not perfect, but we are continuing to learn more about God’s love and the difference He can make in our lives.
