Come and celebrate the birthday of the church!
This will be hosted by The Bridge, with Christ Church and St Barnabas churches taking part.
It is planned as an outside service in the Village Hall car park, so please bring camping chairs, but we will move into the hall if it is wet.

(We are still meeting in the morning at St. Barnabas as usual to celebrate Pentecost.)

St Barnabas Swanland

Welcome to St. Barnabas - a Church in the village of Swanland, a few miles west of Hull in East Yorkshire, where everyone is welcome. 

Our 10.00 am Sunday services are friendly and relaxed, and we offer activities for different age groups. As part of the local community in Swanland, we love to share happy events such as weddings and christenings and we are here to help during some of life's difficult times.   Or perhaps you need some quiet space or someone to talk to or to pray with.   If so, please contact us, or turn up, I am usually in the church building on Sunday at 10.00 am and from Monday to Thursday from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Our church building is usually open as a quiet space for private prayer every day from 10am to 4pm.   We are happy to pray with you, and you can write a prayer and leave it on our prayer-tree and we will pray these in our Sunday services.

Our church is made up of ordinary people.   We're not perfect, but we are continuing to learn more about God’s love and the difference He can make in our lives.
