Join us on Sunday for a morning service, every week from 10 am until 11.15 am.
Our services are informal, following the Church of England pattern. We sing modern songs with some traditional hymns, led by either a worship band, a keyboard, or music videos. During the service, we read from the Bible and hear a sermon (a short, 10-15 minute talk) on what we have heard. We also pray and take time to respond. The words we use are usually projected onto a screen.
We celebrate Communion on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Visitors are welcome to share communion with us if they are baptised and used to taking communion in their church. We use unleavened bread (made from flour and water) or wafers (gluten-free wafers are available on request) and share a common cup containing alcoholic wine.
We do not currently have any babies or children who come to church regularly, but we welcome any who come to all of our services and will aim to start groups for this age when numbers permit.
There is no need to wear anything special; most people dress casually, and you can sit where you like. We do take up an offering as part of our worship, but there is no obligation to give. (Many of our regular members give by standing order.)
After the service, everyone is welcome to stay to chat and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea,
Everyone is welcome, regardless of your church background if, indeed, you have any church background.
