Every second Monday of each month at 2 pm, St Barnabas Church hosts The Healing Rooms in the chapel.

All are welcome to attend for prayer.

No appointment is necessary.

The prayer ministry is free and confidential, and people of any faith background or none are welcome.

We also offer refreshments in our lounge area for those who would just like to pop in for a coffee and a chat.

Whilst Healing Rooms is not a ‘church activity’, and therefore has its own accountability and Safeguarding as part of The Healing Rooms England and Wales, it is an activity that we support, endorse and encourage as part of our outreach to the wider community.

Welcome to St. Barnabas - a Church in the village of Swanland, a few miles west of Hull in East Yorkshire, where everyone is welcome. 

Our 10.00 am Sunday services are friendly and relaxed. As part of the local community in Swanland, we love to share happy events such as weddings and christenings, and we are here to help during some of life's difficult times.   Or perhaps you need some quiet space or someone to talk to or to pray with.   If so, please contact us, or turn up, I am usually in the church building on Sunday at 10.00 am and from Monday to Thursday from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Our church is made up of ordinary people.   We're not perfect, but we are continuing to learn more about God’s love and the difference He can make in our lives.
