Facilities and features

Accessibility

We are a supportive and inclusive church for those with hidden disabilities. There is access to Ear Defenders at the Welcome Area, that can be borrowed whilst in the church

We have one Accessible Parking Bay on the North Church Side, which is on Hull Minster's land. There are also so some Disabled Parking Bays on South Church Side.

Although we do have a ramp on the North Church Side, it is at the North Door entrance, which needs more than one person to get through the door due to their weight, opening two doors and small step.
We strongly recommend that our visitors who need an accessible entrance to use our West Doors in the Trinity Square

We are sight-impaired friendly, and our Welcome Volunteers will always inform visitors if there are any events or obstacles around church to enable everyone to have a smooth visit

Good level access to most of the Minster but a steep ramp into the Chancel.
For our visitors to be aware of - our North and South Choir aisle, and the East end of the church the floors are uneven, however, this area is still accessible

We have one wheelchair available

We are in easy reach of bus stops, and approximately 1/2 mile from the Hull Interchange for trains and buses

We are a supportive church for people with hidden disabilities, and we have Ear Defenders that can be borrowed, whilst in the church, from our 'Welcome Area' at the West doors of the church

We have two spaces that are quiet, to light candles or to just sit and be - our Chancel and Broadley Chapel. These are both accessible, please note our Chancel having a ramp

There are dairy free options, upon request, in our Trinity Room Cafe

We do have an Advocate for People with Different Learning Abilities, who can be contacted if needed

There are spaces to drop off both on the South and North Church Side
