Little Fishes is our baby and toddler group for all to join. We continue to meet online and welcome any new families who wish to join in. Fellowship and support to one another and as we take part in games, activities and song.

Christian Meditation and Prayer Gathering (happening every Wednesday at Hull Minster, from 1.30 - 2.30pm).

In our frantic and noisy world, we all need to find ways into stillness and silence, where we can be in simplicity with God. To help with this, each week we will be hosting a short time of Christian meditation (30mins) followed by some time of reflective prayer with a passage from scripture (lectio divina) at Hull Minster. 

Laurence Freeman, from the World Community of Christian Meditation, describes Christian meditation as a "spiritual practice which guides us into the prayer of Christ. It brings us to silence, stillness and simplicity by a means that is itself silent, still and simple". Join us as we seek to enter deeply into this simple, still, silent prayer of Christ.

Prior to the Christian Meditation and Prayer Gathering, Hull Minster will be holding their lunchtime Holy Communion service, at 12.30pm, to which you are most welcome.

Evening Prayer in modern language (Common Worship) with song and reflection on scripture together. Enter via the North door.

Join us as we begin Advent with a Candlelit procession around Hull Minster accompanied by the Hull Minster Choir.

Advent is a season of expectation and preparation, as the Church prepares to celebrate the coming (adventus) of Christ in his incarnation, and also looks ahead to his final advent as judge at the end of time. The readings and liturgies not only direct us towards Christ's birth, they also challenge the modern reluctance to confront the theme of divine judgement.

Candlelighting - this is a service specifically for those who have lost children or siblings. A short service with the lighting of candles. A time for reflection, and the sharing of memories amongst others in a similar situation. Light refreshments will be served.

Come and enjoy the sounds of traditional Christmas carols and songs with the fabulous Hull Minster choir.

Shoppers' Carols has been a favourite at the Minster for over 50 years. Traditional carols in a relaxed setting. Everyone welcome. Light refreshments will be served. You may not be a shopper but you are still welcome!

Christingle celebrations are named after the Christingles that are lit during the ceremony. Christingles are oranges wrapped in red tape, decorated with dried fruit or sweets, with a candle on the top.

Please join us. It's a lovely joyous service.

Our traditional candlelit service with carols and readings retelling the Christmas story.
The service begins in darkness with the voice of a lone chorister. As the congregation joins in, the church is lit by hundreds of candles. This year's readers are from the Law & Order community across the city.

The service lasts approximately one hour. No booking needed. Free seating. Donations welcome.

Traditional Midnight Mass as we remember the Christ Child born in the night, in Bethlehem 2000 years ago.

What is Midnight Mass? ⛪

This late-night service starts on Christmas Eve and often ends after midnight.

The service normally consists of carols and a short talk, as well as the celebration of Holy Communion (the blessing and sharing of bread and wine).

Join us on Christmas morning as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the light of the world.
