St Gregory's Minster, Kirkdale

Welcome to St Gregory's. To find out more about us please look at our website

We normally have a service at every Sunday following the Book of Common Prayer with a robed 4-part choir led by our Director of Music.

The parish of Kirkdale: St Gregory is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Our regular Sunday Worship at 11.00am is largely ordered on the basis of the Book of Common Prayer with music from the choir under the leadership of its Director of Music, John Hastie. There is either a Choral Eucharist or Matins, please see our website for details. These services use traditional language but there are simple orders of service to help you follow the service and join with us as we celebrate all that God is and all that God has done uplifted by the beautiful music of the choir.
