The Church of England sees the agape meal as an occasion for Christian fellowship, recalling the meals Jesus shared with disciples during His ministry, one expressing their common life, that is to say the fellowship enjoyed by the family of Christ.

Welcome to St Mary's, West Acklam, Middlesbrough.   We hope this website helps you to see what we do as a church and just as importantly to find us, as even though we are in a large town the church is hidden away from main roads and bus routes. The church and its churchyard are an oasis of peace and quiet amongst a suburban setting.
