This popular Christian celebration uses a symbolic orange with a candle to represent Jesus as the light of the world. The orange represents the world, the red ribbon represents Christ's blood, the sweets or fruits represent the fruits of the earth, and the lit candle represents Jesus bringing hope to people in darkness.
A simple Eucharist 'in the round' in our Coffee Lounge followed by refreshments and chat.
A fantastic preschool group suitable from birth to 5. Stories, songs and prayers followed by hot and cold drinks and snacks with crafts and play in a warm safe environment. All are welcome, pop in one week we would love to see you.
Term-time
Informal Worship in the Church Hall with Cake, Coffee and Conversation from 4 o'clock followed by Discussion & Teaching (with video and tea for pre-school and discussion for older children).
Collection of food for Middlesbrough Foodbank on the 3rd Sunday each month. All tins, dried foods, etc. are welcome. Please leave your donations at the back of the church.
