Enjoy chatting with friends over coffee whilst the young children play safely

Little Fishes is a pre-school parent/carer and child drop-in (toddler group) hosted by Stainton Church in the Habinteg Community Room in Hemlington.

The children at the Playgroup remain the responsibility of their parent/carer at all times.

A service of Holy Communion (Common Worship, Order 1) at which our Vicar, Revd Laura Wild, will normally preside.

This service will be held on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays in the month and also, when there is a "5th Sunday Special" Plurality Communion Service in the month, on the 4th Sunday in that month.

The Hemlington Branch of the Girl Guides meets in the Stainton Church Parish Room from 6.00pm to 8.00pm each Tuesday evening during term time.

The service on 30th November 2025 will be at Stainton Church and starts at 10.30am. This will be our annual Christmas Toy/Gift Service and we look forward to receiving donations of UNWRAPPED toys and/or gifts which will be given to a needy family via a local charity.

This is a "Special" Holy Communion Service that rotates around the group of churches on the fifth Sunday of the Month. 30th March 2025 = Stainton; 29th June 2025 = Brookfield; 31st August 2025 - Hilton; 30th November 2025 = Stainton

A time of informal worship with games, puzzles and discussions and lots of refreshments. Anyone at any age will be most welcome!

Note: there will not be Holy Communion at this service.

A non-Eucharistic service to celebrate Christmas at which we join together to sing Christmas Carols and drink coffee. The service will be led by our Vicar, Revd Laura Wild.

We would love to see you wearing your finest Christmas Jumper!

(*) Tea and mince pies will also be served!

A Christmas Eve service for young and old. Come and join us as we hear the Christmas story and see the children help to build the Christmas Crib.
