Church of England Diocese of Ely St. Mary The Great with St. Michael, Cambridge

The Michaelhouse Cafe is open 8am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.

The Michaelhouse Centre is also open at other times for private or public events.

Getting here

We are in St Michael’s Church on Trinity Street, opposite Gonville and Caius College and adjacent to Cambridge Contemporary Art, in the heart of historic Cambridge.

Take any bus going into the Historic Town Centre. Our nearest bus stops are on Bridge Street. Parking is available at Park Street NCP Car Park, just five minutes walk away.

Street bollards are in operation from 10.00am – 4.00pm, Mondays to Saturdays so you can only reach us on foot, by bicycle or by Cambridge taxi within these hours.

Outside of those hours, there is a loading bay and dropping off point outside Cambridge Contemporary Art (the cobblestones) with a maximum stay of 20 minutes. This can be accessed via a one way system in the town centre – from Four Lamps roundabout take Jesus Lane all the way to the end (the corner with Patisserie Valerie) and turn right onto Bridge Street. First left is St John’s Street, which then becomes Trinity Street and we’re on the left, just after Green Street and Rose Crescent.
